The society boasts 14 steam locomotives with valid boiler certificates, with another 6 steam locomotives currently being built, the motive power of Cyfarthfa Park Miniature Railway has no shortage!

Diesel Hydralic Locomotive also feature in the Passenger Hauling duties, of which include, a BR Class 08, Class 52 'Western Champion', Class 40 & and the freelance 4-4-0
