Track Maintenance is carried out by the members to a high standard which meets and exceeds the relevant HSE document on 'passenger carrying miniature railways'

Track Maintenance is carried out on Thursday Evenings between April and October at the Park, and off site maintenance is carried out in Merthyr Tydfil College Workshops during term time. Locomotives and wagons are also built during this time in the college, where friendly advice on machine and building is available, from the members of the Society and the College Lecturers.
