Sinsheim 2009

Five members have recently returned from the Echtdampf Hallentreffen in Sinsheim, Germany. The five day trip consisted of driving from home on the Wednesday Afternoon before the show, to Calais, via the channel tunnel. After a night stay in Calais, the group travelled on to  the destination,, and unloaded the three Locomotives in the show for the weekend.

Once booked in and locomotives stabled on the turntable, a much earned Pilsner beer and meal following the Hotel 'Bar' in the centre of Sinshiem. The hotel was aptly named as two members spent most of the time outside the exhibtion opening hours in the Hotel Bar !

The weather did not affect the weekend even though the temperature did not rise above -5 degrees.
